The municipality of Sittard-Geleen is working hard to become climate neutral by 2040. Better insulation of existing homes is an important building block. But how do you get homeowners to do this? Heat scans help residents to become aware of the insulation opportunities and activate residents to take next steps. This winter, the municipality of Sittard-Geleen together with Sobolt and Regionaal EnergieLoket are making a large-scale effort. Nearly 4,400 residents from these neighborhoods in Geleen can expect a heat scan including an insulation report on their doorstep. Residents can immediately take collective purchasing action insulation.
