Deep Energy Retrofits to Boston. What’s this mission about?
In recent years, Boston has repeatedly been called a leader in the world of innovation and sustainability. The city’s buildings are responsible for 70% of its total greenhouse gas emissions. As part of meeting carbon neutrality by 2050, at least 80% of those buildings shall be retrofitted with sustainable solutions over the next 30 years. The city has already taken major steps. For example, applicable buildings are required to meet the LEED standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). There is a need for more.
Greater Boston's digital mission
The greater Boston region is currently looking for the newest technologies. European high-end scale-ups were invited to join the Digital Mission. Together with 14 other Dutch & Nordic scale-ups, Sobolt is selected to participate. This is a great way to gain in-depth knowledge on the opportunities in the market & start building new connections. Furthermore, the ecosystem in the greater Boston region & the State of Massachusetts is substantially favorable to implement innovations. The ecosystem is meant to be open for foreign companies. It’s a great opportunity for Sobolt to meet potential partners and clients in the US.
Excited? Meet/follow US in Boston.
